Al's Gala reception is a first class affair with the finest foods and cocktails that Roanoke Country Club has to offer.  This annual event will kick off with the Chef Showdown.  The event features a “Best Dish” prepared by local chefs who pair up with Virginia Western Culinary Art’s Scholarship winners.  Gala guest determine who wins Al’s Best Award by tasting and voting for their favorite entry. 
The Chef Showdown starts at 6:00pm when Chefs and their team members demonstrate how their best dish is prepared.  Get there early to see the competition in action. 
The fun starts at 6:00pm and rolls on until 11pm, Friday, September 23rd.  The party spans the entire top floor and veranda of the club.  Please join us and enjoy dancing to live music, great fellowship with Al’s friends and a chance to bid on the best auction items in town.
